Me and my dogs absolutely love this park! First off, it's huge! I love the walking trail so me and my hounds can both get our exercise in for the day. It's well maintained so that makes it pleasant as well. We visit this park about 4 or 5 times a week and we highly recommend!
This is probably the best dog park in Houston. We have taken our pet to this park on the weekends and are really please with the facilities. The pet park has a section for small pets and a section for large pets with ponds, walking trails, water fountains, canopies and nice tree areas. The park visitors includes lots of families with kids which provides a nice family environment. Regular police patrols provide security to visitors. All in all we enjoy this place lots
I really like this park, the small dog park is great for my puppy. The only thing there is some people that seemed annoyed to be in a dog park, take their dogs there leave them off leash and then get annoyed if another dog approaches to socialize and play. And they try to kick the dogs. Some owners don't seem to know how do dogs and puppies play socialize. Watch some YouTube videos to learn how they play. Also you are in a dog park don't expect to leave clean, puppies play jump and get excited so you are gonna get dirty if you don't like it then stay home.
Great place to take your dog to play, has a separate yard for puppies or dogs less than 20 lbs. Swimming pond and drinking fountains for both sides of the park. Big mud ponds for dogs to play and there is several showers to wash and rinse off the dogs when you get ready to leave. A lot of nice people to talk with, safe and friendly.
Love bringing my dog here. Park is alway very clean. Always have a pleasant time here.
