Hutchinson Dog Park

Hutchinson Dog Park
1501 South Severance

The Hutchinson Dog Park was built by Charles Buckaloo and Cause for Paws for dog owners and their dogs to come and socialize. The City of Hutchinson and Cause for Paws work together to keep the park maintained and continual fundraising efforts by Cause for Paws provides the park with constant updating and new and exciting features. This park is free and open to the public from 5:00am to midnight each day.

The dog park is seperated into two areas - one for large or more excited dogs and one for smaller or more bashful dogs. We ask that you keep your dog on leash until you have entered the park and closed the gate. This prevents other dogs from getting out of the park. There are no restroom facilities at the dog park but owners may use the Animal Shelter restrooms during business hours which are Tuesday thru Friday from 1:00pm to 6:00pm and on Saturday and Sunday from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. There is water available for dogs to drink and clean up supplies provided to keep the park clean and to prevent the chance of transmitting illness and disease.

Both parks have covered areas with some seating available but your welcome to bring your lawn chair. Please look over the rules, they were put in place for your safety and your dog. Bringing things into the park such as food or toys could cause dogs to become more aggressive and you are asked to leave them at home. Make sure your dog is current on all shots and healthy before you bring them into the park. We hope you have a great time at the Hutchinson Dog Park.
