The light show was truly remarkable this year, I highly recommend it if you have young kids. Make sure to stop the the sweet shoppe too. The water park is an great place during the summer too. I've also stayed at the campground and would recommend it as well. The shuttle to downtown is a great benefit to take advantage of.
Great place to camp. We have a 42 foot fifth wheel with five slides and plenty of room for two vehicles. Great paths. Dog area. Deer. Close to Charleston. Going back!
The best most organized park I've ever seen. Prompt and helpful staff, great walking and bike paths. Good pool in warm wearher, and top ten X-mas light shows in the country. Annual pass very affordable. Gives access to Folly Beach County park parking spaces; a premium commodity.
Lots of things for the kids. Light show is beautiful. We enjoy it every year. I think they also have other events and things to do throughout the year. We however only go when the lights are out around Christmas time. Good time for kids and adults.
Highly recommend this destination. A few need to know tips. Arrive early, very early to avoid long wait to get inside. Be prepared to venture out on foot for some walking experiences. Dress and prepared to walk up to 1-2 miles. Lots of fun for the whole family.
