We stayed here for two nights. The park is rustic, and has a much older section. We were in the newer section. We were parked on dirt and gravel, no patio or grass. The power towers and water were one for two sites, with each having your own septic. Now here's the problem with the tower and water. If your to the front of the tower and water (meaning the backside of you unit was near them) you were good. However if you had it with tower and water at the front side of your camper, you'd need a long water hose and power cord.
The do have premium sites, but all it has is a concrete pad to park your camper on, no patio as far as I can tell.
The water here has a tendency to be yellow looking. The roads you come in on are paved, but only big enough for one vehicle, if you meet someone on the camp road, someone will have to backup.
This KOA is near Kings Dominion theme park, you need to make reservations especially in the warmer months.
Here's one thing I don't understand. This is a KOA, yet if you buy something in the campstore you won't get a discount. But if you have a Kings Dominion park pass you get a discount.
