This dog Park requires a permit from the county. The permit is 20$ a year, and the dog must be licensed and up to date on rabies vax. The parking is free. It is a fenced in park. There is some trees, some agility structures, a Porta potty, picnic tables, and mud. Most of the regular visitors are friendly.

Great open park for dogs to mingle and owners to walk laps. A bit windy at times, but because of that it dries out quickly after a thaw or some rain. Remember your pass, the volunteers have a preWW2 Germany vibe about them. "papieren bitte"

Great dog park in the heart of Des Moines. A yearly permit is required to access the park, but it is well worth it. Permits can be obtained at the City Clerks office. Proof of a rabies vaccination is required.

Gotta have a city permit to use, but well worth the cost
