Tom Brown Park

501 Easterwood Drive

Located in the eastern part of Tallahassee, just east of Capital Circle SE between Mahan Drive and Apalachee Parkway, sits a huge park with everything you could want to do in it. This is the City of Tallahassee's premier place to play, with numerous baseball and softball fields, tennis courts, and wide open spaces

Tom Brown Park also hosts many of Tallahassee's special events, including the 4th of July Fireworks Show. Large special events are held here periodically, so you will be sure to frequent this park quite a lot.

The park was dedicated on January 30, 1977 and named after Thomas Irvin Brown, Jr., a coach for Leon High School (1944-1946). He was also a coach for the Babe Ruth League for 20 years and a Leon County Commissioner for 14 years. His time, efforts and energies touched the lives of many of our leading young citizens. Tom Brown played the game of sports by giving it his all!

Hours of Operation:

Probably the best public park in Tallahassee. Multiple picnic areas, multiple playing fields, very nice children's playground, competition tennis complex... and more.

Tom Brown Park is a real gem in Tallahassee. From the kids playground, beach volleyball courts, soccer fields, hiking trails to the dog park and tennis courts; there's so many recreational activities you can do. We take our kids here for most all the sports plus have gone to quite a few birthday parties there. We really like the new playground by the lake. Thanks Tallahassee for maintaining such great parks.

Nice park on the edge of the city. Lots of things to do from play equipment, places to walk/bike, a pond to check out, frolf course and more.

This park really has it all. Some of the best mountain biking trails in Tallahassee. They also have disc golf, paved walking trails, playgrounds, plenty of room to picnic, and host some great events. We really enjoyed the 4th of July fireworks.
