Vineyard Dog Park opened on February 14, 2009 with construction paid for by donations from dog owners and local businesses. The park is maintained by a dedicated group of volunteers.
Vineyard Dog Park is a non-profit organization affiliated with SLOPOST (San Luis Obispo Parks, Open Space and Trails Foundation).
Park amenities include water, shade trees, picnic tables, park benches, dog bag dispensers, dog toys, and wading pool (summer time only).
