Wagging Tail Dog Park

5841 Keller Springs Road

The park features small and large dog play areas, a 1/4 mile walking trail, a deck overlooking White Rock Creek, both people and doggie drinking fountains and much more. The grounds are landscaped with native and hardy plantings and stone decking and seating. In keeping with the city's goals of being energy efficient the sprinkler system is solar powered. You'll hardly know you're in the middle of Far North Dallas. The park is open from sunup to sundown Tuesday-Sunday. The park is closed on Monday for maintenance. If Monday is an official City of Dallas holiday the park will be open. The park is also closed during inclement weather. This doesn't only mean inclement only for people and dogs, it means inclement for the grass and grounds.

Wagging Tail is open Tuesday-Sunday from dawn to dusk subject to grounds conditions. The park is closed on Monday for maintenance.

A very nice park! The place is really large and provides 2 separate fenced areas for small and large dogs. The 1st containment area is also very large to accommodate multiple dogs and people to transition in or out. There is a water fountain available and plenty of shade from all the small trees. They did have poop bag stations but unfortunately a lot of owners don't use them because it was a mine field! It seems there's a trail in the back of the park but I didn't explore it on my trip. All in all it was a nice visit for my pooch to socialize.

This dog park is smaller in scale compared to other local dog parks, but it's quite good. There is a friendly group of regular visitors, and the dogs tend get along well. There's plenty of shade, water stations for the dogs, and plenty of loose tennis balls scattered throughout the park. This is the best local dog park for my needs; I would highly recommend it!

Great dog park with areas for large and small dogs. Lovely landscaping nice layout needs a bench in the shade but some nice folks have left camp chairs for people to use. Theareusually tennis balls for fetching.

Decent park. Well maintained. Not a lot of people pick up their dogs poop and there's basically no grass. Watch your step. Sometimes people bring aggressive dogs on the weekends and the regulars leave.

It's a bit smaller than white rock lake, and there isn't a concrete path to walk on to avoid the mess that other owners leave behind. Its decent enough...
