Winnebago County Community Park
The Community Park was originally built as a development project during the late 1960's and early 1970's.
This park's abundance of open space and easy access are among its greatest assets. The 270-acre site is located in the far northern section of the City of Oshkosh between County Road Y and Snell Road, and County Road A and Highway 76.
Facilities include four shelters and a rentable pavilion with playground equipment and support amenities which can be reserved, ball diamonds, 18 field soccer complex, archery range, rugby football fields, disc golf course, three rentable picnic shelters, and three fishing lakes. Winnebago County Community Park is also one of the few parks within Oshkosh City limits where there is a public dog park. 9 acres of fenced area in the northeast portion of the park provides a secure environment for dog owners to exercise their pets off-leash.
County Park Hours: 7am - 11pm
Open 7am to 11pm. No fee is charged.
A 9 acre fenced area in the northeast portion of the park provides a secure environment for dog owners to exercise their pets off-leash. A separated section for small dogs is also available.
